Review highlights

Based on 681 reviews

Slow Tide in Anjuna, Goa, is widely appreciated for its stunning beachfront location and vibrant ambiance, making it an ideal spot for sunset dining. Reviewers consistently praise the quality and variety of the seafood offerings, particularly highlighting signature dishes like the fish thali. The service is frequently described as warm, attentive, and efficient, contributing to a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. While the menu may have limited vegetarian options, those available are fresh and well-prepared. Parking and access can pose minor challenges due to the narrow roads, but this is generally understood and does not detract from the overall positive impression of the restaurant. Slow Tide stands out as a fine dining destination that captures the essence of Goa’s coastal charm.

The place defines goa’s fine dining scene. Before going, i read a few reviews, issues with parking, cover charge etc. But honestly, the expectations were aligned from get go, so that never hurts. In terms of1. Food: The flavours are really nice. My husband took prawns, i took their momos and a veg sandwich. Everything was good. The options may seem limited for a vegetarian with a north indian palette, but again, they mentioned from get go that the flavours are southern.2. Drinks - Amazing! The servers know what thet are talking about, they guide you through what you may like. I haven’t seen this approach a lot in India except really expensive places. So i was impressed.3. View - Again, quite nice. You can see the sunset peacefully.

Came across this place by chance and lucked out. Later got to know it’s really trending. The parking is about 200-300m before the shack if you want to park for free. If not, you can pay 200rs and park right outside. It’s a narrow road and I’m sure it gets busy. The view is amazing. Slow tide is right at the beach. Reggae was playing and was quite pleasant. They seem to take reservations. They have a large space and an interior dining area too.We ate -• Fish thali - brilliant, leaf wrapped small fish fillet, little crab, prawns, fish fritters, potato sabzi, small sol kadi, rice, halwa etc 5/5• Jaffna prawns - tiger prawns in a yummy masala with a string appam 5/5• veg multigrain sandwich with sweet potato chips - my vegetarian friend was elated 5/5• Bobby and the Bee cocktail - nice 4/5• acid Eric - 5/5• Chandra and Sandra - fine 4/5• jig fizz - 5/5We paid through Zomato and got a slight discount. Super happy with our experience. We paid about 1200 pp.

The fish thali (Rs 695), was excellent. It included, Goan orange curry, steamed red snapper in banana leaf, a little crab, fish fritters, kismur, prawns balchao, potato bhaji, kokum local rice, Goan sanna and Mangane (dessert). Every item in the thali was excellent.Located in the narrow lanes of Anjuna, with a direct view of the beach.Service is excellent and they have a good selection of food and drinks.A tad bit expensive, but this is a go to place for food lovers. The seating, all on bar stools, can possibly be uncomfortable for a dining experience. For food lovers and those who love a variety which is v good and different from the standard fare available in most restaurants in Goa, Slow Tide is not to be missed.

Good sundowner cafe, with efficient service and polite staff. The food menu does not have too many veg options but the ones that are there are good quality and fresh. Its a great place to spend an evening and watch the sun set right in front of you.

This restaurant in Anjuna is an absolute must-visit! Their Goan prawn curry was the best I’ve ever had—I still find myself craving it. The red rice that came with it was delicious, and the Mangalore buns were simply to die for. The ambiance was just perfect, with stunning beach-view outdoor seating that made the experience even better. Can’t wait to go back!

The elevated, foodie experience that is a rarer find that you'd expect in Anjuna. The setting is of course absolutely beautiful, overlooking the beach and with a pitch perfect soundtrack that has clearly been curated by someone who cares. Both the cocktails and the food are fantastic. Ask their front of house team for recommendations, they'll happily offer them and we regretted none of the choices we made as a result. Particular shout out to the brussel sprouts, which were just absolutely delicious.
